More than 90 per cent of wetland habitats in this part of Yorkshire have been lost.

Here at Nosterfield Nature Reserve we’re working hard to reverse this.

Our Well Wetlands project was dedicated to restoring and creating new species-rich, priority habitats and sharing more of this incredibly special place with you.

Thanks to a team of talented volunteers and generous support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Well Wetlands project was completed in February 2021.
