Join Caroline Matusiak, winner of the 2023 Ripon Poetry Festival for this free, family workshop at Nosterfield Nature Reserve.
Starting at 10am in the main reserve car park, we will explore the reserve whilst listening to readings from Caroline’s poetry collection ‘The 36 from Ripon’. We’ll also work on some fun writing activities inspired by what we see and hear on the reserve. Parents and carers can join in the activities along with their children.
The workshop is 2 hours long. This will include a break for refreshments at 11am when a selection of hot and cold drinks and biscuits will be available.
The workshop will explore up to 1.5 miles of flat, even and accessible pathways through Nosterfield Nature Reserve; 150 hectares of wet grassland that provides vital habitat for wading birds, butterflies, wildflowers and dragonflies.
