Another tree tube removal day at Nosterfield!

Following such a fantastic effort in September, we’re holding another tree tube removal day to collect the remaining guards from around Nosterfield Nature Reserve & Quarry.

We’ll be meeting at the Well Wetlands Plant Nursery at 10:00am (see map and address below). Please walk if possible, those that cannot, or live further afield, please park in the Tarmac Quarry Visitor Centre car park and take the footpath through to Flask Lane. There will be signs directing you to the plant nursery from the car park.

Event details

• The event is taking place on Saturday 9th October 2021, from 10:00am until around 2:00pm.

• Please bring your own gloves and stanley knife or scissors

• Wear sensible footwear and clothes you don't mind getting dirty

• Bring a spot of lunch and a flask of tea!

Locations:

• Nosterfield Quarry car park address: Flask Lane, DL8 2QZ. The car park is off to the left just inside the entrance next to a small visitor centre.
