Tree tube removal extravaganza at Nosterfield!

Come and help us for a day to remove the tree guards around Nosterfield Nature Reserve & Quarry! We’re already expecting a large crowd, but anyone is welcome as we are aiming to get the whole lot done in one day!

We’ll be meeting at the Well Wetlands Plant Nursery at 10:30am (see map and address below). Please walk if possible, those that cannot, or live further afield, please park in the Tarmac Quarry Visitor Centre car park and take the footpath through to Flask Lane.

Event details

• The event is taking place on Saturday, 4th September 2021, from 10:30am onwards

• Please bring your own gloves and stanley knife

• Wear sensible footwear and clothes you don't mind getting dirty

• Bring a spot of lunch and a flask of tea!

Locations:

• Nosterfield Quarry car park address: Flask Lane, DL8 2QZ. The car park is off to the left just inside the entrance next to a small visitor centre.
