Expanding priority wetland habitats in the Lower Ure valley

This project has been working to re-establish fen communities characteristic of the lower Ure valley through the work of our strong volunteer team, using surviving remnant wetlands as reference habitats and sources of propagules.

We received a generous grant of £39,500 from Yorkshire Water’s Biodiversity Fund to support the project, which began in July 2020.
