DEAD HEDGING AND SCRUB CUTTING!
A dead hedge taking shape!
For our next community work day we will be dead hedging and scrub cutting in the woodland around Kiln Lake. The brash and logs will be used to create dead hedges & log piles which will create homes for invertebrates, small mammals, birds and reptiles.
The work in the woodland has been carried out to open up densely planted areas and create glades.
